Buckwheats are crucial nectar sources for pollinators! Sulfur Buckwheat is found in alpine areas of WA and the west. Moderate water and full sun to partial shade will keep it happy in our area. Yellow summer blooms feed the pollinators and the seed heads add texture and interest once the blooms have faded.
