Rosa woodsii

Native rose found in riparian areas. Forms a thicket over time if water allows. Can be mown to the ground if it becomes unruly. Serves as habitat for native bees! Pink spring/summer blooms are followed by edible rose hips in winter that feed the birds. Thorny thicket forms makes an excellent option as living fence!
