Dalea ornata

Slow to grow but worth the wait! This spring/summer blooming hyperlocal native loves well draining soils and attracts pollinators while also fixing nitrogen in the soil. Blooms range from white to deep purple. Pairs well with Pale Evening Primrose, Antelope Bitterbrush, Munro’s Globemallow and Snow Buckwheat. Goes dormant in the heat of summer while still providing food for pollinators. Such a cool plant!
